                        Biography

David Weir was born on the 5^th June 1979 and is an elite British Paralympic  wheel chair athlete from London , England. On 13^th April 2008 David won his 3^rd London marathon in a row and his fourth in total. He came 3^{rd in} the 2010 London marathon, after getting a flat tyre on his new wheel chair. He won the 2012 London marathon which was his sixth in a London marathon.  He is very talented even though he is disabled which shows that even disabled people are the same as normal people.

^{He has been described by the Canadian broadcasting corporation as one of the best wheelchair athlete in the world which made David Weir very happy!}  David Weir currently holds the British record at all track distances up to 5,000 m, as well as on the road at 10 km, half marathon, and marathon.
